Sisterhood Re-envisioned 5777/2016-2017
In an effort to maintain the core values and role of Sisterhood, but recognizing the current reality, Larchmont Temple Sisterhood has been re-envisioned.
In 2016-2017, there will be several different ways to experience Sisterhood and build relationships among women. First, through our LT Connects initiative. We encourage you to consider joining a small group here. There are several groups that will be “sisterhood-like” in their content – challah and holiday baking, yoga and knitting are some examples. Watch your email and the Temple website this fall for ways to register for these and other small groups.
Second, our Women’s Seder is scheduled for March 23. Please mark your calendar to attend this wonderful evening where women of all generations come together to celebrate Passover from a female perspective.
Third, we are excited that Rabbi Miller will share her intellect and insights through her teachings this fall and spring.
Finally, if you want to perform acts of loving kindness, look for news from our Social Action Committee. Through this committee, Larchmont Temple does so much good in our community and beyond.
