Larchmont Temple has a long tradition of providing Jewish musical experiences for every congregant, young and old. Our children learn traditional and new Jewish songs for every holiday and occasion whether they are in Nursery School, KESHER, or our post-b'nai mitzvah programs. Adult music lovers have an opportunity to join our choir or our volunteer band. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or just listen, music is an integral part of our Larchmont Temple community.
Shir is Hebrew for Song!
Shir Joy is our K-2nd Grade choir which meets twice a month on Sundays before KESHER from 9:30 -10:00am. Shir Joy sings during the year at Temple for Shabbat and festival services.
Rehearsals will be Wednesdays 5:45-6:45pm including a pizza dinner. We will sing on Rosh Hashanah evening at the early service, during the year at Larchmont Temple and community events, and with our other choirs.
